Our professional series range hoods have no circuit board or digital display, instead they are equipped with rotary mechanical switches for reliability. This simple design makes it the best fit for indoor and outdoor enclosed spaces over any gas stove or BBQ. Because there is no circuit board, the hood will still be functional after years of being exposed over high heat and will not break down unlike most other range hoods that have a digital display/circuit board. The main cause for a range hood to stop functioning is a problem with a circuit board or display. Because electronics are sensitive to heat, when you have a range hood for multiple years it is likely that the electronics will need to be replaced. Our professional series range hoods eliminate this problem completely by installing aluminum metal switches, making it suitable for gas stoves and BBQ's. All metal blower Equipped with a rust and oil-resistant, all metal, fully enclosed motor and a high temperature (600C) fibreglass sleeve for all wires. Many other manufacturers use plastic blower casings and/or impellers with NON-sealed motors. This can create premature failure and can be a fire hazard. Having a faulty circuit board or display will make any range hood non-operational. Finding the same circuit board or display for a faulty unit can be impossible in most cases. Our professional range hoods eliminate this problem completely by having metal mechanical switches. Stainless steel baffle filters Our professional hoods come with stainless steel baffle filters. Unlike standard aluminum mesh filters, these filters will not discolour overtime and become less efficient, requiring the filters to be replaced. When cleaning is desired, the filters split apart to fit into any standard dishwasher for thorough cleaning inside and out.
